I recently had an art date with one of my good friends. Her son is 6 years old and he likes to draw machines, trucks, construction sites, underground spy caves, underground mines... It's amazing!!! He has the mind of an engineer... Well, I had the privilege to learn how to draw my own machine, under his supervision of course! He showed me how to draw the motor in the bottom left corner, and the cabin at the top.... Then he let me customize my machine with an add-on: the ice cream holder. My final drawing is nothing compared to his intricate, detailed compositions, but I had fun trying :)
It truly is refreshing to see the world through a child's eyes...
Well isn't that special! He is going to freak when I show him you posted this on your blog. Very sweet of you. Of course, I think he's a genius, but I might be a little biased. Talk to you soon kitty kat.

OMG Christine, that's frikkin' ADORABLE!!! As soon as i read "her son is 6" I thought "WAY TO GO DES!!" :o) Yes, it is wonderful to see the world from the eyes of a child, isn't it? I'm sure he'll be thrilled to see his masterpiece on-line... :o)
